Legal - Pre-Order Terms

What you're
buying.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

A pre-order is not a normal purchase. You pay today for a piece that has yet to be produced. These terms exist so you know exactly what that means, what we guarantee, and what you can do if you change your mind. Read them before buying - completing an order means accepting them.

1 - Who sells to you

GØDN, Sociedade Unipessoal Lda.
Tax ID (NIPC): 519226992
Rua Alfredo Marceneiro, 2, 4.º D, Vila Fria
Porto Salvo, Oeiras, Portugal
Contact: hello@godn.pt

2 - What the Drop 001 pre-order is

Drop 001 is a limited, numbered series made in Portugal. Pieces are produced after the pre-order window closes, in a single batch. There is no stock waiting: your order is part of what triggers production.

Every piece sold in this pre-order carries a serial number and an NFC tag linked to the product's digital passport.

3 - Prices, VAT and founder pricing

  • All prices are in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate (23%).
  • The founder price is a 15% discount on list price, valid only during the Drop 001 pre-order window.
  • Delivery is included in the price within mainland Portugal. For the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, and for destinations outside Portugal, shipping costs are shown separately before you complete payment.

4 - Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe and charged in full at the time of order. We never store your card details on any system of ours.

You receive your invoice by email, issued through software certified by the Portuguese Tax Authority.

5 - Delivery

The expected dispatch date for Drop 001 is [REVER: date to confirm with production]. The date shown on each product page at the time of purchase is the one that applies.

If production is delayed, we tell you by email with a new date. If the delay doesn't work for you, you can cancel for a full refund, at no cost and without giving a reason.

If we cannot deliver at all, we refund everything you paid, shipping included, within 14 days of that communication.

6 - Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014 of 14 July.

  • The period runs from the day you, or someone on your behalf, physically receives the piece - not from the order date.
  • You may exercise this right at any point between placing the order and the end of those 14 days. That means: throughout the entire production period, you can cancel and be refunded.

How to do it, who bears which costs and refund timings are set out on the Returns and Exchanges page, which forms part of these terms.

7 - Legal guarantee of conformity

Pieces carry a 3-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, under Decree-Law 84/2021 of 18 October. If a piece has a manufacturing defect or does not match what was advertised, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract, on the conditions set out in law.

Normal wear from use is not a defect.

8 - Limited series and numbering

The serial number assigned to your piece is sequential and determined by order sequence. Specific numbers cannot be chosen or reserved.

The quantity produced per piece is stated on the Drop 001 page. If a piece sells out during the pre-order window, it stops being available.

9 - Digital passport and NFC tag

The NFC tag gives access to the piece's digital passport: composition, origin, serial number and associated content. Access carries no additional cost and no expiry.

The passport is a digital service tied to the piece. We may change or add features over time, but we commit to keeping composition, origin and authenticity information accessible.

10 - Complaints and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, write to hello@godn.pt first. We answer every message.

You also have access to the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.

For consumer disputes, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body:

11 - Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Nothing here removes or limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

12 - Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you placed it, recorded in the confirmation you receive by email.
